Thanks to everyone who attended the Mom2Mom Business Workshop this morning at Jungle Island!

All I can say is WOW.

Close to 300 moms came out for a morning of networking and heard from some fabulous speakers with real, practical advice for running a work-at-home business.

So many of you asked for a way to connect with the people who were there, so I'm setting up this forum just for that.

I'll start with contact information for myself and the speakers.

I'm Erika Anderson. Owner of http://www.OneLittleLite.com I left soooo inspired. Wow! Misha and Marla had such inspiring stories to share and very practical advice as well. It was amazing to be in a room with over 300 women - all there for the same reason - to pave a new path and not accept the status-quo. The feeling of community and support was outstanding. Even my friend who attended as a vendor commented on how impressed she was with the atmosphere and how nurturing it was. I left wanting to know more, do more, and be more. I hope that there will be more events like this!

i also tutored in the past. right now, i'm just tutoring my own children. i used to tutor at local libraries but i got tired of dragging my kids out there. i do it from home with my own children. this way, the children don't feel intimidated being alone with an adult. i've taught for over 15 years at M-DCPS. i've even helped my kid's friends with their math virtually. anything is possible.

As everybody else here I am also a mom trying to get a business running from my house. I am doing some marketing for this new product, is being a little hard for me to put this product in the market.
