Join us May 30 at the new coffeehouse made for moms in North Miami Beach. Cafe Bambini has a great space for moms to hang out while the kids play in a colorful area filled with science toys, blocks and plenty of other stuff to keep them occupied.

Award-winning parenting coach Maggie Macaulay of Whole-Hearted Parenting, will be our special guest. Maggie will give us some pointers on how to keep the kids -- and our sanity -- in check. She'll answer your questions, too. Read her MomsMiami profile and all her posts on the site here.

Moms you'll want to go to cafe Bambini with your little bambini's. While my daughter was having a spa morning with her Girl Scout troop at Le Petite Spa this Saturday I strolled down to Cafe Bambini for a coffee. Yuuummmz! The Dulce De Leche Ice Coffee was delicious. Service was on point and the play area for the kiddies was super cute and clean. This should be a special treat for you if you can make it. When you're all done there just head over the bridge and hit the beach with the kids. It's beautiful out there....enjoy!

Just wondering if there any events or "meet'n'greets" south, such as Kendall or around there...

Hi, there.
We try to have a get-together every month, and we move it around all over South Florida. We had a big party last month at Metrozoo and a recent Moms Night Out in Pinecrest, so we're heading a little farther north this month.

But we'll be back to the south area again soon.

Food for thought though, Cafe Bambini is really geared for the younger kiddies. I'd say maybe up to age 5. Is anyone bringing their kids with them and if so what are their ages? My daughter is 7 and my son is 9. He'll probably want to go fishing with dad.
